Ms. Phillips is an active member of the National Association of Benefits & Insurance Professionals (NABIP), a professional association consisting of agents, brokers, insurance carrier representatives and employee benefit consultants. She has served on both the Birmingham and Alabama chapter Board of Trustees in various leadership positions including the position of President of both chapters. Currently she serves as the state Executive Director of Alabama Association of Health Underwriters – a title she has held for over 25 years. She also recently served as Regional Vice President for NABIP representing the 7 Southeastern States.

Ms. Phillips holds  Medicare Certifications with America’s Health Insurance Plans,  as well as NABIP. She is licensed to enroll with all major carriers in Alabama, assuring her clients receive the most unbiased and best Medicare plan to fit their individual needs.  She also travels throughout the state educating Medicare eligible beneficiaries in a one on one setting as well as Employer Group settings for retiring employees.

Ms. Phillips is a Lifetime Qualifier of NABIP Leading Producers Roundtable, recognizing agents across the country for exceptional sales achievement. She has received numerous industry awards including the NABIP Distinguished Service Award for her leadership and contributions to the insurance industry, a Presidential Citation award from NABIP as well as the prestigious John Galloway Memorial Award given annually to one person in the state of Alabama who exemplifies both leadership and professionalism in the insurance industry.

She continues to advocate on both a federal and state level to legislators and regulatory agencies on behalf of consumers and agents alike concerning the information and education of the Health Reform legislation and all Medicare Legislation.
